Rock the Marrow 2011 is an event to raise awareness of Leukemia by enlisting both blood and bone marrow donations. Every day in the United States, an estimated 6,000 people need a bone marrow transplant. Most physicians describe finding a match as “being the equivalent to winning the lottery.” Our mission is spread the word about the importance of blood donations and bone marrow registrations, not only in our community, but nationwide.
